Escape Games Murder Mystery
The Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort transforms one of their hotel rooms into an escape room. Each game session lasts 45 minutes, with each participant acting as a detective in a murder case. To book a spot call concierge at 760.862.4518.

This event will honor the victims of the World Trade Center, Pentagon, and Shanksville, PA, terror attacks. It will feature musical performances, speeches by local dignitaries, and public art composed of World Trade Center building remnants.

2019 ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk
Features include a 5K run/walk, Kids’ Superhero Dash for Dad, and virtual Snooze for Dudes program. Stick around for the family friendly post-race celebration. Outdoor Field Class: How To Identify Animal Burrows
Holes abound in the desert as animals seek refuge from climate and predators, or hunt for food. Candice Weber will shed light on ground holes, elevated holes, divots and mounds in this field class. Participants will learn how to identify holes and discern which animals are living in them in the classroom session, and then put their knowledge to the test in the field.

Night Sky Festival at Joshua Tree National Park
This all-day event has something for all ages, including a scale model of the solar system that is large enough to walk through, guided walks with docents explaining the plants, animals and geology of our special environment, astronomy-themed crafts, and live music.
